As a child my favorite book was called a tailor made friendship. It was about a little girl who wakes up in a world of fabric the entire world is like a quilt. All of her new found friends are patched fabric animals. In the end she wakes up and her grandmother has surprised her with all her new friends as stuffed animals on her bed. I loved it.
What you'll need
What ever colors you would like to use face paint.
Makeup and face painting brushes
Eye liner/gel liner
Optional a stencil or decorative stockings
False eye lashes optional
Lash glue optional
Rhinestones optional
To begin depending on the mask you want completely cover your face(optional) and along your jaw line with white face paint. With your liquid eyeliner or black face paint with a edge liner brush create the patch look. It doesn't need to be detailed just a layout of the patch squares. Make it yours draw circles in one, lace around the outside of another, X's throughout or solid colors for another this is also where the stenciling can be fun or pulling your stockings over your head and press the color with a blush brush be very careful in removing the stocking/tights for a more detailed look apply a color first, pull stocking/tights over face and press the second color over the stockings/tights. Next apply the color for each individual patch. At this point apply the false lashes if you want to add some fun to your look. Taking your liquid liner or black paint and edge liner brush draw a like from your hairline along your jaw to the hairline atop your other ear. Draw large stitch marks along this line and smaller stitch marks around your patches unless you added a lace outline.
