What you'll need
Brush/comb/boar brush
Bobby pins
2 elastics
Gel/moose/hairspray
Hair extensions if your hair is too short
Brush hair throughout to eliminate any snarls and apply favorite texturizing product. It's easiest if you hang your head upside down to create very high pigtails like a bugs antennas. Taking a small section of hair from behind each pigtail wrap around the elastic tucking the ends underneath and pinning securely. Backcomb both pigtail completely, taking your boar brush smooth out the pigtails and spray for a secure hold. Taking each pigtail in one hand wrap around the other hand towards your face like a ribbon on a present. The ends should be between your pigtails and directed to the back of your head and pinned in place crossing the pins for a secure hold use as many as needed for a secure hold. Spray a good amount of hairspray on the ends and smooth them with your comb or boar brush. Pulling your ends forward between your pigtails wrap over and under pinning in place.

Make-up that's out of this world
This look is wonderful because its one you can make it all your own. If needed find a space picture that calls to you or you would like to make your own. Ill get you started.
What you'll need
Desired color eyeshadow for this blog
blue
dark blue
black
shimmery white
purple
Dark green
Concealer or desired make-up primer
Lash glue
white Rhinestones multi sizes
eye shadow brushes/ tooth pic
Eye liner/gel liner
white paint
glitter
With this take it slow start with soft subtle colors and apply shadow in layers if you apply too much or rush it you will have to clean off and start over completely. Take it slow.
Apply concealer over desired area for this blog I am going to do a cosmic mask over both eyes and nose. With my shimmery white eye shadow I am going to create a milky way. Over my right eye I am going to create a backwards S shape starting with the arch section of my eye bringing it down under my eye and back towards my ear. I'm going to take the same white and create a crescent shape starting at the top of my nose and over my left eye brow arch and around my eye along my cheek bone fading into my nose, with the white still in hand I'm going to add small distant milky way balls maybe one above an eye brow another along my hair line or maybe a larger single one. Taking the lighter blue color I am going to fill in the entire space I want for my mask and over my eye lids leaving the white milky way swirls untouched. Layering as I go to create darker and lighter shades. Now with the dark blue and dark green I am going to go through again and add dimension to my eye lids and mask fading one color into another and using layers and swirls of colors from sections coming out of my milky way. As long as you take your time you really cant go wrong its your Galaxy. Taking the black I am going to go along the bottom outside of the mask layering it as I go shading it into the mask and applying it where i would like my Galaxy to be blackened with windows of space. Taking my purple I'm going to go through and use as a highlighter throughout to give brilliant pops of color. Taking the white again I am going to go through my milky ways to secure the color. With my black eye liner following my water line I am going to create a subtle liner if you want a more dramatic look play with it however your Galaxy calls for. After applying a few coats of mascara or fabulous space like false lashes I am going to go through with my lash glue and multiple sized Rhinestone or some rhinestones and white paint with a tooth pic to create the beautiful starry skies. Taking your glitter apply throughout your milky way swirls and over your stars. Hopefully this gets you started on your way to finding your Galaxy and creating your own universe. Celebrate yourself your universe is yours for the taking. ENJOY
The next two tutorials I will not list a what you will need because it all varies on what you have available but I will list in the tutorials the tools used.
For space like lips find a stencil, stocking or lace that you feel fits the look you want. There are a few ways you can go about it. (optional) Start with black eye liner/lipstick tracing your lips and filling in completely. Place stencil tool over your lips and add color and remove, place stencil over your lips again in a slightly different place and add a different color continue this until desired look is complete for a starry look add glitter and your finished. Another way is to just start applying colors with stencil including a black color throughout. Another way is to apply the black eyeliner/lipstick, taking a colored tinted glitter gloss or glitter added to a tinted gloss over the black liner for a cosmic look.
Nails : These are fun, Choosing nail polishes with glitter i prefer polish with different size glitter and a solid black color, you can use solid colors and a glitter top coat(which is the way I will be showing you). Now the colors are up to and how you want your galaxy to look. apply a solid black polish to nails depending on the polish it may need a few coats. On a surface that you don't mind trashing poor a small amount of the polish and begin using the darker color polish on sat surface with a small sponge and dab along your nails. Repeat this process with each color going lighter and lighter as a highlighter I recommend only two colors but it is your galaxy. After applying the second highlight color and it dries go over it with glitter polish a glitter polish with a tint of color is fun to use as well. If polishes are limited you can simply use a solid black and a tinted glitter polish. Your done you are ready to party like shooting star.

The Vixen blue peacock
What you'll need
Face pain/Make-up
White
Soft pink blush
3 shades of blue from Dark blue to a softer blue
Gold
Purple
Black eye liner
White eye liner pencil
Light reflecting/glitter
Peacock feathers hair clip(optional)
Make up brushes and applicators
Ivory white face powder/ silver eyeshadow
Blue eye liner pencil or eyeliner brush
Blue mascara/ blue false lashes
Lash glue (optional)
Rhinestones(optional)
Lace or stockings
I am only doing one eye if you wish to do both simply repeat with the other eye. Take your time with this and start softly working your way up to bolder darker color its a commitment with every dark stroke rush it and the look is ruined.
Taking your white eyeliner draw your outline at the top of your eye crease completely across your eye lid crease connecting starting with the outer end with a cat eye line. Bringing it up touching the bottom corner of your eyebrow. In a downward beak style arch up the side of your nose and in a straight angle line down to the center crease of your nostril. About finger width from your tear duct inward draw a smooth arch down to the inside of top of your cheek bone along your eye socket following the bone structure to your temple. Bring it back along the top of your cheek bone up towards your tear duct. Connect to your nostril line in an arch to complete the downward beak shape along the side of your nose. At the center of your eye lid with your black liner just bellow the arch draw lines from your crease line increasing in length from just a finger and a half width up your eye brow to your hair line just above your temple be sure not to press too hard its just a layout. Outside your new makeup layout with a brush or sponge apply white face make-up or foundations over your face followed by white foundation powder/silver glitter, make sure it is smooth almost airbrush in appearance leaving eyebrows untouched. Following the black eye liner out line up through the lines, filling between eyebrow to crease line around the cat eye fill in the top cheek bone line to your lower water line with the lighter blue color in a dabbing or brush motion. With the darker blue color and a liner brush just bellow your water line draw lines to the outside of your cheekbone layout line towards the temple. This is to simulate feathers so draw multiple lines so close together they almost touch making some ends touch, cross over and random line spaces left empty. With your gold fill in your eyelid outline through the side of your nose beak and ribbon along cheekbone to temple. Taking your black eyeliner draw a line across your eyelid from your tear duct up and out in a small loop up attaching to your gold crease cat eye line. Draw a circle from the corner of your bottom waterline around the side of your eye up over the top of your gold line fill in with dark blue fading the eyelid side into your eye. Draw a larger circle outside the last one, it should now look like you have a center full dark circle a lighter circle and darker outer circle the same width as the center lighter circle. Repeat the style of lines you created to the cheekbone line earlier around the outer darker circle, this is where the lines through your eyebrow come into play go over the lines with your dark blue. These feather lines should be dark bold and solid in color. Taking your purple dab through the lines over your brow, with your brush long the temple side of your outer dark blue circle darker along the circle and fading lighter to your hair line. Taking your gold mix with glitter and make six dots and with a liner pencil pull at your dots like bursts to look almost twinkling around your eye(in a crescent shape). If you don't feel comfortable creating the gold bursts you can replace them with rhinestones and lash glue. With your blue eyeliner trace along your lash lines and just outside your water line. Apply your blue mascara or false lashes. Outline your lips with your blue liner and fill in completely, Securely placing the lace or stockings over your lips dab the purple or gold over the lace/stocking and remove. Apply your soft pink blush just under your cheek bones very subtly in and your finished. To make this look pop you can pull the side of your hair back with a peacock hair clip at the side of your head. Make it yours dust over with light reflecting or glitter, use different colors, its yours have fun with it.

Tricks with makeup
This is just a collections of make-up tips and ideas.
Bigger eyes: Taking a white eye liner pencil trace along the bottom water line and/or the corner of your eyes to create big beautiful eyes.
Eye shadows: a light reflecting shadow will help make your eyes pop, also applying darker shadow to the outer half of your eye and lightly shading it into the center creates that pop look.
Dark eye liner : Drawing along your your upper lash line about the point where you started the dark eye shadow leaving the inner lash line bright and open.
Shadow eye liner: For the bottom lid create a false lower water line with a your eye liner pencil just under the real water line. Take your shadow brush smooth out the line for a smooth less harsh line.
Eyebrow arch: brighten your arch for a fuller look with a reflecting shadow, with this look don't go too extreme many people apply a white or too light and bright color shadow at the arch it does not look natural more drag queen at the dollar store. Find a shade just shy of your skin color with a subtle light reflecting shimmer.
Smokey eye shadow: Apply concealer all over your full eye lid to your brow, Fill in your lid with a dark eye shadow if you want a more natural brown smokey look or a smokey black look its up to you for this I am going to go with the more natural brown smokey look. Filling in your lid and up to the crease with a dark brown shadow using a fluffy shadow bush and bellow your lower water line. Apply with a patting motion a darker gray slightly purple shadow over your eye lid and outer lower water line. Take a natural pale or even a slightly silver shadow and apply to the tear duct and blend out softly you don't want this to really make a statement. Taking your fluffy shading brush apply a softer brown color over your crease and blend out to your arch. Taking a soft purple shadow softly go over the outer corner of the upper crease and blend your shadow should look brown with a soft purple highlight. Apply an arch highlight to your arch to make your brows and eyes pop. For a more dramatic look taking a black shadow create a cat eye line and blend in over the outside of your lid and into your crease. Apply a black eye liner to your entire water line all the way around. Apply a thin line of liquid liner over the top of your upper lashes. Apply mascara and your finished. For a more dramatic look apply false lashes.
Fuller lips: Clean your lips with a tooth brush or wash cloth and apply a chap stick to moisturize your lips and let it set in. Cover with concealer and let that set in as well. Taking the same shade lip liner as your lipstick(your natural lip color or one shade darker is better) if you don't have a lip liner you can use lipstick and a liner pencil brush.
If your lip liner is darker then your gloss or lipstick/gloss: Trace along your lip line(keeping your lips in a natural position) just a hair outside your natural lip line, this is tricky not to go too extreme out side your lip line to avoid looking like a clown or old lady. Fill in your lips with your liner leaving the center of your lips bare. Going over full lips with your gloss or center with lipstick shade the outer and inner lips for a smooth transition. Apply a full lip gloss and to the center a glittery eye shadow or glow/glittery makeup at the center of your lips to make them pop.
If your liner is lighter then your lipstick fill in your lips completely with liner. Fill in the outer corners of your lips with your darker lipstick, shade the lipstick into your center for a more natural look. Go over lips with a clear or slightly tinted gloss and apply the glitter/glow to the center of
your lips and your finished.
Blush application: Depending on face type apply blush and smooth out over cheek bones I find the more subtle and natural the better.....

As a child my favorite book was called a tailor made friendship. It was about a little girl who wakes up in a world of fabric the entire world is like a quilt. All of her new found friends are patched fabric animals. In the end she wakes up and her grandmother has surprised her with all her new friends as stuffed animals on her bed. I loved it.
What you'll need
What ever colors you would like to use face paint.
Makeup and face painting brushes
Eye liner/gel liner
Optional a stencil or decorative stockings
False eye lashes optional
Lash glue optional
Rhinestones optional
To begin depending on the mask you want completely cover your face(optional) and along your jaw line with white face paint. With your liquid eyeliner or black face paint with a edge liner brush create the patch look. It doesn't need to be detailed just a layout of the patch squares. Make it yours draw circles in one, lace around the outside of another, X's throughout or solid colors for another this is also where the stenciling can be fun or pulling your stockings over your head and press the color with a blush brush be very careful in removing the stocking/tights for a more detailed look apply a color first, pull stocking/tights over face and press the second color over the stockings/tights. Next apply the color for each individual patch. At this point apply the false lashes if you want to add some fun to your look. Taking your liquid liner or black paint and edge liner brush draw a like from your hairline along your jaw to the hairline atop your other ear. Draw large stitch marks along this line and smaller stitch marks around your patches unless you added a lace outline.

A keepsake for a memorable evening
You've taken the time to follow my mask tutorial, painted your face with dear elegance and style the evening was magical and you hate to see it end. The makeup will however run and fade and will need to come off how to hold on to that .......
What you'll need
I prefer plaster bandage or gauze
Vaseline
All the makeup you used on the look your wish to re-create
I like a large nail file
Head band
Bowl of water
Scissors
Slick hair away from your face and put a head band in to secure hair form getting in your way. Using a healthy dose of Vaseline cover your clean face trust me you will want more then less especially over eye brows, lashes and hair line etc. Cut into small bandage like strips dipping each individual strip into water and place on your face. Create an even thick layer breathing through your nose. try to insure an even layer across your face leave it on until it is completely dry. To remove scrunch and wiggle your face to detach it from your face it takes some pulling by hand. Taking more strips fill in nose hole and eye holes if desired. Let the mask sit and dry completely. Trim around your mask for a smooth angelic like appearance trim desired shape If you want just a half mask . Taking your nail file file along the mask to make it smooth without bumps. Cover mask with a few layers of white face paint.for a smooth surface for your decorative paint to be applied. Recreate the enchanting mask to hold for ever. This can also be handy to practice your makeup technique for the big night.
Heals worth kissin
What you'll need
A pair of shoes/heals that need a sexy bite
The strongest super glue you can find
Desired size and color of studs and spikes
A power drill/driver
Screw driver
White out
WARNING power tools are being used please don't puncture or sever any body parts please be careful ;-)
Taking white out and shoe in hand mark off the points you would like a stud or spike. Taking your drill create small holes(be sure to pull the driver in and out a few time for a smooth hole) where you marked the white out just large enough for the stud to fit through the hole. place the back of the stud in place to secure the hole and give you an idea when drilling other holes how many studs you have. If studs down the heal are desired, place a hefty amount of super glue on the back of your stud and leave unattached to the spike until it is fully dried and secure. Once secure screw on the spike tips to all the backs in need. Taking a manuel screw driver to all the backs excluding the ones on the heals and tighten. Make them your own have fun with them. Take them out for a night on the town looking truly fierce.

Elegant Party Mask without the discomfort
What you will need
Black or desired color rhinestones
Lash glue
False eye lashes
Black lipstick
Black eye liner
Black eye shadow
Desired color of dazzle dust
Thin eye shadow brush
Taking your eye liner draw the desired shape of a mask you would like to wear on your face or if needed get someone to help you with this. Taking your black lipstick fill in the mask completely leaving of course the eye holes untouched.("The eye holes were my idea" desert star's playhouse Zorro quote for the fam) and go over your mask with black eye shadow. Taking your black eye liner go back over and define the mask again for clean crisp lines. Apply eye liner if your mask is a cat eye like shape creating an angled eye is recommended and like wise a circle eye hole is great with a natural eye liner look. Apply eye liner to your water line or lower lash line and if desired create small lash strokes with your liner to extend your bottom lashes to make your eyes pop. Apply your false eye lashes if they are new gently bend them around a bit so that they will adapt to your eye shape. Taking your dazzle dust or pigment and create desired designs on your mask you can create a mirror effect or your own design on either side of your mask its up to you. Taking the back of your eye shadow brush apply small dots of Lash glue to your skin just out side your mask around your mask I recommend doing 5 dots at a time and then applying the rhinestones or your glue may dry before you are done. Once you have bordered your mask with the rhinestones your finished. Like I always say make it your own it doesn't have to be black add the rhinestones atop your mask. Another fun trick for face painting is to lay a some lace or any textured or cut out shape and lay it securely on your face and paint or dazzle over that onto your skin or painted skin. Feathers like the picture just bellow can be purchased I believe i got mine at Micheal's crafts and added to a mask for a lovely addition just have fun and enjoy.
