What you will need:
Hair elastic lg and small
chopstick/pen
Hair brush/com
Gel/moose
curling iron/curlers (optional)
A basket weave is a beautiful way to style hair. It looks so complicated but its really simple. Grab a small section beginning at the top bang area and weave over-under-over-under at desired widths and secure tightly in place at the back . Take another small section right under the first and weave the opposite as you did prior. Where you went over go under and under where you went over and secure it in place. Carry on down both sides of your head until you reach behind both ears. Collect the ends you secured and wrap them into a single elastic. Wrap the bottom section of hair in the elastic around the hair elastic to hide it and pin once and then again crossing it to secure it.
Another way is to create a small hawk-like section from bangs to the back and tie off for later. Gather a princess or top third of your hair and tie off. Release the hawk and divide it in half length wise and take each small section; weaving as I described above, down sides of the head instead of back. Finish one side then the other. Curl the woven strands ends to create a dramatic look.
