A fun and delicate hawk

What you will need:
Hair elastics
bungee or bobbypins attached to elastics
hair gel/moose/hair spray
comb/hair brush
hair decorations(optional)

Section a V shaped section atop your head back a few inches, tie off for later. Pull all your remaining hair into a low ponytail. Section a third of the ponytail and let it fall. Take remaining hair and with a bungee or two bobby pins and a hair tie attach it to your head an inch or so up from the first. Section in half and let bottom half fall. Taking top section an inch or so above the last bungee or bobby/hair tie to securely to head. I like to take the top v section and create a bump.  A bump is easily created in several ways.  A simple twist and pushing forward to create desired bump size and pin securely, or taking a small rubber band binding hair at desired point for bump and pin that down. Either way I like to create a bump. The remaining hair I twist loosely grab a single hair and cinch the rest of the hair to desired curls and pin down. If you would like a large dramatic look I like to use rolled up nylons or a tube sock.  Yes, I admit it!  Split the sections into two pinning the sock/stocking down back of head and pin securely. If you want a simple soft hawk do not add any additional padding. Taking sections of the tied off section twist and grab a single hair and cinch and pin.
